Hole 1
Par 4, 297 Yards
A rescue club/long iron to start. Beware the water that runs all the way up the left. From the fairway, you will have a short iron shot to the green.
Hole 2
Par 5, 575 Yards
A long par 5. Out of bounds on the left demands accuracy from the tee. Drive the ball to the right of the tree to open up the second shot.
Hole 3
Par 3, 197 Yards
A demanding tee shot. Aim for the left half of the green as anything drifting right will find water.
Hole 4
Par 4, 422 Yards
Bunkers left and right dominate the tee shot. Long hitters beware of running through the fairway. A long second shot awaits to a well-guarded green.
Hole 5
Par 4, 297 Yards
A drivable par 4. A shallow green that needs a precise second shot to get close to the pin.
Hole 6
Par 5, 469 Yards
A short par 5. A good drive leaves a long iron or wood for the second shot to the green. Avoid the water on the left off the tee.
Hole 7
Par 3, 198 Yards
Another great par 3, this time with water on the left and behind the green. Often a wood is required to reach the putting surface.
Hole 8
Par 5, 569 Yards
A gentle draw from the tee leaves you in the best position for the second shot. A well-guarded and sloping green often makes par a good score on this long par 5.
Hole 9
Par 3, 151 Yards
The shorter of the two par 3s that share a double green in front of the clubhouse.
Hole 10
Par 5, 488 Yards
An enjoyable par 5. Tee shot guarded by water to the left and out of bounds to the right. A long hitter can carry the road to set up a great birdie chance.
Hole 11
Par 3, 151 Yards
A medium length par 3, surrounded by water and framed by a rock wall. Often looked on as the signature hole, anything long or right will find water.
Hole 12
Par 4, 358 Yards
A straight par 4. A good drive should leave a short approach and birdie chance.
Hole 13
Par 4, 322 Yards
A short par 4 with water short, hidden from the tee. The green is shallow and sloping from front to back which demands a precise second shot.
Hole 14
Par 4, 456 Yards
Index 1 and the longest par 4 on the course. Drive as close as possible to the bunkers to shorten the demanding second shot.
Hole 15
Par 4, 328 Yards
A long tee shot at the left-hand green side bunker can set up a birdie chance. Anything right however, will find trouble.
Hole 16
Par 5, 482 Yards
The final real birdie chance of the round. Out of bounds right and a deep bunker on the left await any crooked tee shot. Hit a long, straight drive and a birdie chance awaits.
Hole 17
Par 4, 437 Yards
A fantastic long par 4, framed by the tree 50 yards short of the green. This hole demands two great shots to reach a well-guarded green.
Hole 18
Par 3, 182 Yards
The longer of the two par 3s that share a double green brings you to the finish. Beware the severity of the green, which slopes from back to front.

Stunning golf course, they’ve really got a great track that will test all your skill, loads of large greens with tricky pin positions. Throw in the water features and the sand traps, you need to be on your game around here, looking forward to going back. Nice restaurant in the clubhouse and staff were very attentive too.

Course looks huge but it is actually just right. People in the Pro Shop were really nice…Some amazing pars 3s, 9, 11 and 18 for example and some pretty hard par 5s. It’s a course you would like to have. Bunkers were huge with lots of white sand so not too hard to get out of. The greens were superb and lots of water to keep you focused. Nice clubhouse as well.

Great course, plenty of water on the par 3’s to keep it interesting, along with some tasty par 4s to put your decision making to the test, dual green sharing the 9th & 18th flags going into the clubhouse is a fantastic touch, club house staff were extremely helpful and easy to deal with, will definitely play it again!

We recently visited The Vue Restaurant for our golf presentation evening. The venue is absolutely stunning, with fantastic panoramic views across Dublin that create a memorable setting for any event. The restaurant itself is beautifully presented, modern, and has a great atmosphere. The staff were excellent throughout the evening; friendly, professional, and very helpful.

Very playable and has super friendly staff. Great course for all levels. Quick drive from center of Dublin – beautiful city views and a laid-back atmosphere. The course was in excellent shape. As others have mentioned, hit it straight or pay the consequences.

First time playing in Ireland and based on this course I can’t wait to go back :). Great shape, good value, some challenging greens . Layout is nice. Played with a member and his brother and they were good people . Fish and Chips and a creamy Pint of Guinness afterwards put a cherry on top of an excellent day of golf.

Castleknock is a great parkland course, well situated, beautifully presented and well staffed. It’s a testing enough track, but good greens offer true reads and tight fairways give it a high rating in our opinion. There are some really great views of the Liffey Valley and Dublin Mountains. Well priced for the location, with friendly staff.
